Things to Remember
The most important concepts to take away from this chapter are how to add, work with, and manipulate media in the Project panel. Combine these with the lessons you learned about logging and capturing in the last chapter, and you begin to see the power of Premiere Pro.
Many of the features presented in this chapter will be more fully explored in the projects to come, but already you can anticipate which features are most helpful and will be used often in your editing workflow. The Video Options submenu, Audio Options submenu, and importing layered Photoshop files are just a few examples.
In the next chapter, you will move forward to playing media in the Monitor panels, exploring the differences and similarities between the Source and Program Monitors.
