Step Two
For larger areas, you’ll probably have better success using the Healing Brush Tool. Again, you want to show the results of this tool appear on your blank layer, so in the Options Bar change the Sample setting to Current & Below. (This is a new setting in Photoshop CS3 that gives you additional options besides Use All Layers).
Hold down Option (PC: Alt) and click once on the area you want to use to "fix" the blemishes (or wrinkles, dark spots, smile lines...) and then paint over those areas. Don’t worry if the result looks a little artificial because you’ll address that in the next step.
