Adding a Sitemap
The last step is to tell Google about your sitemap. You do that in the Add Sitemap screen.
- In the Webmaster Tools Dashboard (Figure 7), click the Add a Sitemap link for the site you want to add a sitemap for.
- In the Add Sitemap screen (Figure 8), choose Add General Web Sitemap from
the pop-up menu.

- Enter the complete URL for the sitemap created by the Google Sitemap Generator plugin in the "My Sitemap URL is" box.
- Click Add Web Sitemap. Google displays a screen that lists the site's
sitemaps (Figure 9). It will probably indicate that the sitemap's status is
"Pending." You're done.
