Delete iWeb Published Websites
When you create a website in iWeb and publish it to a folder instead of an iDisk, it gets stored locally on your hard drive. Typically, you’ll upload the site using an FTP program. However, after you upload the site, you can recover disk space by deleting the locally published copy. This doesn’t delete the site from iWeb, nor will it cause any delays if you later republish the site. This is because iWeb will always republish the entire site when publishing to a folder and not just changes made since it was last published.
