Ron Dawson

Ron Dawson is co-founder, Creative Director and Executive Producer of Dare Dreamer Media, a new media marketing and video production agency specializing in the development of cause-driven and inspirational films. He has been awarded a two-time Videographer of the Year award for the Bay Area Professional Videographer’s Association, for two consecutive years was named to the top 25 most influential event videographers in the industry as voted by his peers for EventDV magazine, has won international awards, and is a speaker/instructor at international conventions. Ron was also producer and host of the popular podcast F-Stop Beyond, a weekly audio and video podcast that gets personal with photographers and filmmakers. He currently produces and hosts the filmmakers podcast, "Crossing the 180" where he's had such prestigious guests as X-Men producer Ralph Winter, "Book of Eli" co-director Albert Hughes, and "Terminator: Salvation" DP Shane Hurlbut.

Ron’s marketing experience includes over 20 years in small to medium sized companies, including 5 years as VP of Operations for Screenplay Systems and nearly 3 years as Business Marketing Manager for Quicken.
