Dialing a Phone Number on a Webpage
If you see a webpage that has a phone number on it, chances are the iPhone will recognize that phone number as a phone number and it will be highlighted or show up as a button. You can tap the phone number and the iPhone will ask you whether or not you want to dial it. If you tap Call, it calls that number. Once you tap End Call, you’ll be returned to the webpage you were last viewing.
